Standings
2025 SERIES #1 STANDINGS AND INFO
The series is scored on a 5 race series with racers accumulating points on a monthly basis with the score of their fastest car in each class. The scoring format is 1st place- 30 points, 2nd- 28, 3rd- 26, 4th- 24, 5th- 22, 6th and below going from 21 down to 1 in 1 point increments.THE LOWEST MONTHLY SCORE IS DROPPED IN CASE YOU MISS A MONTH. The 5th race will count as double points or the equivelant of 2 races so if this happens to be your lowest score you drop then you only drop one of the set. The racer with most points at the end of the series will be crowned the class champion and will receive THE BOSS AWARD!
We will also be giving out the BIG BOSS AWARD to the racer that performs the best over all the classes. The top 5 racers in each class will earn points towards the overall title. 1st- 5, 2nd- 4, 3rd-3, 4th- 2, 5th-1 point. The racer with the most points will claim the overall championship and be crowned THE BIG BOSS.
In the event that boxes are not received in time for a race an addendum race may be held. It will not cause the participants to lose points that competed on racr day but it will go towards the standings. This will be at the discretion of the race coordinators. There will be no chance of an addendum race on the 5th race of the series.
Scoring for the Hot Rod Bracket challenge will be slightly different. The standings will be calculated with the cars that did not run faster than the breakout time. The cars that did exceed the breakout time will then be ranked with the closest to the breakout time down to the farthest.
The Series Standings will not include the SCOUT NATIONAL RANKINGS Class. That is a stand alone monthly class.
